May The Future Be Better Than The Past
I have had a rough life. People have not always been very nice to me, so I am looking for a calm, gentle person to live out the rest of my life with.... once I know you and trust you, I am very sweet.
I am just a young boy... but I am so good at loading in a trailer and have such good manners, I get to go with the volunteers on outtings! I went to a craft fair and a pork burger sale and to Rural King! My mommy is Lily listed above, and they say my daddy was a pony, whatever that is.... will you give me my forever home?
I was recently rescued with my friend Lilly and our babies. My fosters are working with me... they like to call me Sassy.... not sure why?? I think I am a very sweet girl .... training to be determined.
I was recently rescued with my friend Sapphire and our babies. I have put on some much needed weight and an now coming into my own! My fosters have sat on me without a saddle and a walked around the pasture for them.... so they think I have been ridden in the past! More info to follow!
Have you ever seen a silver and gold horse? I'm Cassie! I'd make a beautiful pasture pal. I'm calm and easy-going, I like sunsets and slow walks. Come see if we would hit it off!
I have the ability to do anything! I just need someone to take the time to teach me. I am working on building trust with people. I would love a special someone to call my own!
I have had a very bumpy life, but I don't let that get me down... I am like to go for rides, and even got to go to Pet Expo last year and gave kids pony rides!
I've received some much needed pampering and coiffuring since coming to the rescue. I'm all glammed up and ready for a new home. I would love to spend my days with a gentle rider.
I might have lost my sight, but not my ability to be loved and give pony rides! I love people and treats!!!!
I am a sweet boy who gets along with everybody. My back has been damaged so I cannot be ridden but I'd love to be your buddy in the pasture.
I used to do 4H and would really like someone who is interested in all kinds of riding! I am super sweet and love just being brushed too.
I am a former race horse, and I carry the physical scars, but I am working on forgetting the emotional ones.
I am what they call "Green Broke". I have no idea what that means.... but I love people, attention and am very willing to learn.
I'm a bit famous - you might have seen my story on the news. I was abandoned at the fairgrounds. I'm an older southern gentleman who enjoys light riding and evening strolls. I would love to be your pal.
I am a former show queen! While my competition days are behind me, I still love strutting my stuff. Would love to spend my days with a calm & patient rider.
Adoption is easy. Shadarobah's first priority it to make sure that you and the horse are compatible. To help set you both up for success we will provide you with education on horse care and handling along with referrals for supplies, feed, hay and general support. We follow-up with our adopters to make sure that things are going well. Horse MUST be returned to Shadarobah if the adoption does not work out for ANY reason. Horses are not allowed to be re-sold or re-homed without our approval.
